Listed below are a number of excellent informational resources concerning emergency preparedness. Three in particular have an abundance of good information. (1) FEMA, (2) Ready.gov and (3) American Red Cross. FEMA also has a weather app for smartphones that can provide push notifications about severe weather conditions and other types of emergencies.
